Mike Petersell is a Co-Active trained Coach and the Founder and Managing Principal at Workplace Growth. He is an innovative talent development leader with recognized in-depth expertise in leadership development, performance improvement, and learning strategy planning & execution.

Prior to launching Workplace Growth, Mike held a variety of internal corporate positions including Director of Instructional Design, and Director of Management Development. He was a principal architect in the creation of a global leadership program for a major technology company that focused on building business acumen, people-management skills, and the capacity to create change. He also accelerated succession opportunities for high potential leaders by designing and facilitating a 9-month program that included assessment & feedback, mentoring support, and action learning.

Mike is currently part of the American Management Association (AMA) faculty delivering their Developing Executive Leadership, Train-the-trainer and Instructional Design for Trainers workshops. He possesses a BBA in Business Management, an MS in Industrial Labor Relations, and an MS in Instructional Systems.

Additionally, Mike is a certified and authorized provider of DISC and 12 Driving Forces assessments from TTI Success Insights.  He is also an active member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and a frequent speaker and facilitator at their conferences. He spent three years as an Advisory Group Member for the ATD Forum, a benchmarking organization for forward-thinking talent development professionals.
